1913 - 1914 New Hampshire Union
On January 9, 1914 a meeting was called by President Edward Fairchild, the third president of the then New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts, of non-fraternity men to form an organization with the following principles:
“To create a better and more democratic New Hampshire spirit.
To put the frat men and the nonfrat men on a common basis.
To make the non-fraternity men realize their opportunities.
To arouse the interest of the nonfrat men in the different College activities and thereby give them greater incentive to push College Spirit.”
